Ashlynn Kate Fuqua - Director & Teacher

Ashlynn Fuqua graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with her BSBA in Marketing and is currently pursuing her MBA. She is originally from Daphne, Alabama where she trained with Mobile Ballet, Robinson’s School of Dance, Five Flags Dance Academy, and Dunbar Performing Arts Magnet School. After 16 years as a competitive dancer, Ashlynn went to Auburn University and was a member of the Tiger Paws dance team. After a year at Auburn, she transferred to Southern Miss and was a member of the Southern Misses dance team for two years before becoming the Assistant Coach. Ashlynn was the Distinguished Young Woman of Baldwin County in 2017 and she now choreographs for multiple counties from Florida to Louisiana. Ashlynn is currently on staff with the Universal Dance Association teaching camps In Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Louisiana. Ashlynn also serves as a Dance Diplomat for the Movement Exchange that travels around to countries in South America to teach dance to orphans. Ashlynn is currently a full-time resident of Hattiesburg, Mississippi where she has trained many dancers that have gone on to win regional and national titles. She is currently the Assistant Director at Five Flags Dance Academy in Pensacola, FL and is the Curriculum Director at the Show Room Dance Studio in Pascagoula, MS. Ashlynn is a third generation studio owner and is so excited to share her knowledge and love of dance with the students and families in Mississippi.

Ashley Barnett - Business Manager & Teacher

Ashley is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. While at USM, she was captain of the Dixie Darlings, captain of the Southern Misses, Campus Beauty, and a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Ashley went to University of Mobile to graduate school to earn hours toward a Masters in Education. She founded many dance programs in the Mobile County Public School System and was a school teacher for 9 years. While at Dunbar Creative and Performing Arts School Ashley was the ballet mistress. She then taught dance and fitness classes at Faulkner State Community College for 6 years. She directed the dance team, recruited and gave full college scholarships to dancers by audition. She competed and trained at an early age as a "Lynn Robinson Dancer" from Robinson's School of Dance, which was founded by her mom in 1968. Ashley has choreographed for Alabama's Junior Miss, UCA/UDA, various pageants and numerous dance teams along the Gulf Coast. Ashley is best known for training some of the best male dancers/teachers in the Southeast such as Noble Bradley who was Tremaine Dancer of the Year, and Mr. West Coast Dance Explosion. Calvin Turner from "So you think you can Dance" top 20. Ryan Arnold who is the current Ballet director at Dunbar Magnet School in Mobile, Alabama and many others. Ashley is married to Chris Barnett and now resides in Daphne, Alabama. Ashley and Chris have four children; Joshua, Jordan, Ashlynn and Shaun. Ashley is so excited to be expanding her business to Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
